Dear Norma - I just put your "Everyday angels" letter to my website (under Love and Friends / Tired Eyes of a Lonely Child.)

Normally I wouldn´t put website links there, but your story is such an example on positive energy I wanted people to find you easily so that they could read your book and learn that there is always a way to live life well, even when we face great challenges.

Your inspirational real life story proves it really is all about the attitude! You are such a great example to anyone who is considering giving up when facing difficulties.

Big hugs to you,

Leena Smile

Dear Norma,
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading your book. I started reading last evening and finished it this morning! I couldn't put it down! I got such a kick out of reading about the early days of the Cubs and THS and feeling nostalgic about it all. I also realized that what you and Rhonda did was so remarkable, and really advanced the sport in Taunton and Southeastern Mass.
As a Kid with an outside perspective, it never occurred to me how terrible your accident was and how tough you were to be coaching the cubs so soon afterward. It never occurred to me to feel sorry for you, and I never saw you as limited in anyway. I think this is because you were always so positive and in charge.
Thank you for writing down your story to share with others. Your strength and perseverance following the accident set an amazing example of overcoming setbacks. And your involvement with your girls' activities is inspirational to me as a parent. In fact, when I finished the book, my daughter asked me to show her some of my cheerleading moves, and I sure did! She'll make a great cheerleader some daysoon!

The book was absolutely wonderful to read. It was easy for me a non-cheerleader to understand the complexity of the sport.
It was truly inspirational to know how much Norma actually enjoyed what it was she was doing and how much work she did.
I suggest this book to all cheerleaders and their coaches, it will give you all a profound perspective on your journey.

Loved reading it. Brought back so many good memories and made me realize how much of a fighter my own mother was. What an inspiration to have a mom that was so motivated to become her best by trying to help her cheerleaders and daughters be their best.

Biggrin I have not had the opportunity to read your book, however looking forward to it! I am sure it will prove to be every bit as rewarding as coaching over the past 30 years has been.
